Vieux Ridge Adult Swim Team
Are you looking to get back in shape, stay in shape, or maybe you want to relive your glory days to see if you’ve still got it? Whatever the reason, the Vieux Ridge Adult Team is for you! Join fellow VRSTC members (NOTE: You have to be a member of VRSTC to be on the team or participate in the program.) in the pool where you will receive quality workouts and technique instruction to help you work towards your goals. All abilities and levels are welcome. The season culminates with the annual Adult Meet! “Go Vieux Ridge!” Speedos optional (but you must wear appropriate swimming attire).

Calling all Vieux Ridge Swimmers!
It’s almost that time of year again and we have been thrilled to see many of you getting your laps in over the winter. We look forward to meeting our new VR swimmers and to catching up with all of our veterans. We kick off our season on Monday, June 24th at 8pm, and, as always, we’ll have about five lanes dedicated to our team. (Scroll down to see practice schedule and times.) We are planning some great sets for our season and aim to have more lanes swimming sets together this season. There is always a spot open for those wanting to zero in on some general stroke technique and drills. And best of all, Adult Swim Team is FREE!
Whether you braved the outdoor lap swim this winter or you have had a nice eight-month taper – get ready for some new and challenging workouts. We look forward to catching up with our return swimmers and recruiting those of you on the fence – come join the fun!
During our first week together in June we will do some informal time trials at the end of practice, so come prepared with a few events you might like to swim at the Adult Meet.
We also have Vieux Ridge Adult Swim Team gear available. Be the envy of your friends sporting our adult team’s infamous “Be all you thought you used to be” merch. You can find the flyer showing the gear and the order form (due 7/8) on the website.
Let’s set some goals for your season! We’d love to have a strong Vieux Ridge showing this year at the Adult Meet at the end of July (Saturday July 27th @ Innis Arden), we have the swimmers…let’s do it! We look forward to seeing you soon and please feel free to reach out with any questions!
