View Ridge Swim & Tennis Club is a member-owned club. There are currently 504 active family memberships.

• To join the club, a member must live within the boundaries:
  • North: N. 110th Street
  • South: Ship Canal
  • East: Lake Washington
  • West: 25th N.E.

• The main operating hours of the club (the pool, clubhouse and grounds) begin in mid-May through early September. The tennis courts are accessible year-round but the courts are not regularly maintained after the main operating months. In the off season the club offers lap swimming for adults (ages 16+) for an additional per member fee (see our member 2024-25 off-season information page for details, but the fee was $730 for the initial off-season member swimmer in 2024-25). The initial membership joining fee was $9,902 for 2023. This fee changes annually. All equity will be refunded with the sale of the membership.
• Current yearly membership fees are summarized as follows, and are subject to change each year:
  • Annual dues are $1252.
  • Annual capital improvement fee of $500. 50% of your capital improvement fee is refunded with the sale of your membership. Additional fees are assessed based on each family’s usage of the club’s benefits (i.e. swim team, tennis team, lessons and clinics, events, etc.).
  • At the present time, there is a waiting list of over 1,000 families. The number of new members varies from year to year, so it is not possible to accurately predict how long it might take to become a member. The club is always interested in bringing in new members – new members add to the vitality of the club. However, we are restricted by capacity, the club’s Bylaws, and Articles of Incorporation. New members in 2023 waited an average of 13 years before being offered a membership.
  • If you are interested in being placed on the waiting list, there is a one-time non refundable fee of $150. Wait list spots are not transferable.
• You are responsible for updating the club if your email address(es), phone number(s) or mailing address should change.  If we are unable to contact you, you will be skipped and/or dropped from the waiting list. If you have already joined our waitlist and have changes, please send your updates to membership@vrstc.org.
