In November of 2024, the swim club became owners of 37kW of rooftop solar power! We worked closely with Seattle based installer SolTerra Solar to design a system that consists of 89 Washington made solar panels combined with US made microinverters. This will yield an annual average of 35,000kWh, drastically reducing our grid energy dependency needed to keep our pool running year-round. This amount of solar production is equivalent to 45,000lbs of CO2 reduced on a yearly basis.
