The best summer job you’ll ever have!   

We are now accepting applications for Lifeguards/Swim Lesson Instructors, Tennis Instructors, and Snack Shack Attendants for the 2026 summer season.

Job Requirements:

Lifeguards and Swim Lesson Instructors must show proof of RedCross certification or enrollment in a Lifeguarding course and be certified by our May 7, 2026, opening date. Applicants must be 16 years old by May 7, 2026. (Applicants do not need to be 16 at the time of application).

Tennis Instructors must be 14 years old to apply. Priority given to those currently in the 10th grade or higher.

Lifeguards, Swim Lesson Instructors, and Tennis Instructors must be able to teach 3 out of the 5 sessions of group lessons. Sessions run every 2 weeks beginning June 22nd, 2026.

Snack Shack Attendance applicants will need a current King County Food Handlers Permit – they may attain it after the hiring process. Applicants must be 14 years old to apply. Priority given to those currently in the 9th grade or higher.

All staff will need a bank account for direct deposit of paychecks. All staff will need a personal email for scheduling and communication purposes.

Mandatory Dates:

If selected, applicants must be available for an in-person interview beginning February 1st and continuing through February 20th – specific dates and times TBD.

All newly hired staff members must attend our mandatory crew orientation
scheduled for Sunday, March 22nd, 2026 at 11am. Additional training dates TBD.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to send applications and communications via their own email. We encourage parents/guardians to provide space for applicants to correspond themselves during the hiring process.

Interview Process:

Once we review all cover letters and resumes, we will contact those who qualify to schedule an in-person interview – a sign-up genius will be provided to sign up for interview slots. Interviews will be held in our Clubhouse at View Ridge Swim and Tennis Club.
