Yoga Classes - Summer of 2025

Class Description:

60-Minute All-Levels Vinyasa Flow – This class is a mindful, vigorous flow that is accessible for all experience levels. Class will be taught on the lawn. Bring a mat and any special requests for areas you’d like to focus on. All levels from beginner to advanced practitioner welcome.

Instructor Bio:

Winnie Andersen completed her 200-hour YogaWorks teacher training in 2011. She’s taught yoga classes as a student at Brown University and in Seattle. Winnie grew up swimming on the View Ridge swim team and lifeguarding in the summers and is excited to bring yoga to View Ridge.

What to bring:

Please bring a yoga mat or towel.
We’ll try to get some partial shade, but bring your sunscreen!

When:

Our first class will be this Sunday, 6/15/2025, and will be offering weekly yoga classes on Sunday mornings from 9-10am all summer on the lawn (weather-dependent). We had some requests to move it a bit earlier (to avoid some of the noise and distractions that happen once the pool is open), so let’s try this 9-10am time and see how it works.

Cost:

Classes are $10/person paid day of (cash, Venmo @winnie-26, or Zelle to 206-227-8373).

Guests:

Each member may bring one guest.

How to sign-up:

No need to register in advance. Just show up!

Communication:

Communication will go through Winnie’s mailing list – if you’re interested in participating and are not already on the yoga mailing list from off-season, please submit your email address through this form to be added to the yoga mailing list. Class times/schedules may change from week to week, and Winnie will send scheduling updates to this mailing list.
